Description

We are an indie game studio based in Belgium, created by us, siblings Robert and Annemieke van Barlingen. Annemieke creates the art, and Robert does the programming.

We're passionate about Story & Art, so that's the main focus in our projects. To that extent, we also don't limit ourselves to video games. We plan to branch out into books, physical products and maybe even animations. Anything that allows us to tell emotional stories through captivating art.

We strive to create a deep personal connection with our audience. Through our social media, we provide a window into our lives as indie developers. We want to make the audience a part of our journey.

History

We have always worked on fun projects together, ever since we were little kids. In 2023, we decided to, once again, work together on something. Since Annemieke is an artist, and Robert is a developer, a game seemed like a logical project to collaborate on. We applied for a government grant and a local accelerator program. Against all odds, we were granted the funding and we got accepted into the accelerator. This gave us the financial and social structure to pursue our first project, Strom: Svamp's Journey (working title). This is what we are currently working on. We have the prototype and are planning to create the vertical slice soon.
